April Favourites!

Hello lovely people,

So April has been and gone (its flown by!) it has been a busy old month with lots of birthdays, weddings and new additions to our houses, say Hi to Jessie, Liv’s new kitten (insert awww’s and hearts melting). We’ve put together our favourite 4 things from the month each to share with you.

Biore Face Wash;

Ok so I love washing my face! I have large pores but I’ve been having some problems with my skin recently and it’s had some texture. I’d wanted to try something by Biore as they specifically target pores and use charcoal, which I like the idea of as it’s a natural product.  This has done wonders for my skin, my pores are noticeably smaller/ cleaner and my face feels so fresh after using this. The texture of my skin has improved and I have less breakouts. I’m in love and so glad I bought this!

Bourjois Color Boost “Peach on the Beach”;

So I bought this on our trip to London (check out our blog post here) and I’ve loved it ever since. You can apply it lightly for a beautiful sheer peachy colour or really go for it and it gives a great pop of colour to the lips. It has SPF in it, which I never see on lip products, and feels moisturising on my lips. My only slight negative is it says on the tube comfort and hydration for 10 hours and that hasn’t been something I’ve noticed. This definitely needs reapplying throughout the day but I think that’s normal for a glossy finish lip product.

No7 Airbrush Away Pore Minimising Primer;

Again this is another London buy, but it’s fab I’ve used this pretty much everyday since I bought it and it really delivers! My makeup lasts way longer and I’m a lot less oily at the end of a full day at work. It provides a great base for foundation to go on smoothly and although its mattifying it doesn’t dry my skin out! There’s 4 primers in the range all aimed at different skin types. I highly recommend this product!

Bourjois Curling Mascara;

I bought this a while ago and have used it off and on, but this month I’ve really been enjoying it again and wanted to use it up before it expires! It has a standard curling wand but the formula is really nice to use, doesn’t clump and it adds curl to my poker straight lashes without having to squish them in a lash curler! It’s a great ‘drugstore’ mascara!

So I bought this slightly on a whim…and it was on offer! But I’m really glad I did. Its got a plastic spikey brush, which I don’t normally go for, but it separates lashes brilliantly and creates great length to lashes! I bought it in brown black to give a more natural look.

No7 Matte Lip Crayon “Raspberry Wine”;

I love this. I’ve had it for quite a while but I’ve really really been loving it this month! There are no other words for this product, its an incredible colour, super pigmented, moisturising, dries to a great finish and stays put pretty well too! I would definitely buy another of these…if not several!

Elf Mineral Pressed Bronzer “Baked Peach”;

This was an item I bought during my recent Elf haul (we will be doing a post on it soon!). I really love the colour of this bronzer, its a really pretty peachy golden pinky colour – very very pretty. Its not too shimmer and it blends really well. It makes a really nice soft bronzer contour shade. I will definitely be using this into the summer and using on holiday!

Good Things Stay Clear Purifying Cleanser;

I was looking for a smoothing, anti-blemish cleanser when I got this to use as part of my skincare routine with the Yes To Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub. I am really enjoying this cleanser, its super soft, makes my skin feel so clean, fresh and smooth and the product just smells incredible!! I would definitely recommend this product!

So those are our April favourites! Let us know yours in the comments below and we’ll check them out!!
